This exquisite villa, finished in late 1998, is one of the newest additions to Puerto Vallarta's pool of luxury homes. It sits slightly above its sister villa, Marea Baja, and commands views of all of Banderas Bay. On the entry level there is an open-air living room, dining room, patio with fireplace, and "infinity" pool. The decor is meticulous and refined, with a nod to the brilliant native colors and arts of Mexico. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel gourmet appliances. An open interior staircase leads to three bedrooms on the lower level, each with king beds, en-suite bathrooms, and terraces with views of the bay. There is a small exercise room with its own bathroom off the master suite. An exterior staircase leads down to an apartment with a queen bed, a fold-out queen sofa, bathroom, and its own small kitchen. There is a nice swimming beach in front of the house -all only a mile from the historic center and restaurants of Puerto Vallarta.
This home comes staffed with a houseman, maids, gardener, and a cook who will prepare two meals a day, either breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Food costs generally run to $150 per person, per week, depending on your tastes: your cook will do all your grocery shopping.
