Salicotta is a splendid property with a large swimming pool.
Situated close to the top of a hill in the Niccone valley it has
panoramic views over Umbria and Tuscany. There are two
beautiful villas which are available to rent all year around,
either separately for eight or for six respectively, or both
together for a total of fourteen people.
The interiors of both villas have been finely restored with
antique furnishings, C18 oak beamed ceilings, terracotta
floors and stone fireplaces and the overall effect is tasteful
and extremely comfortable. This is an outstanding property.
The Guest Villa provides accommodation for six people. It is
separate from the First Villa by some 40 metres and has its
own private entrance and driveway.
The ground floor has a living/dining room with fireplace, a
large modern equipped kitchen (washing machine and
dishwasher), a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath.
The first floor, which provides access directly to the
swimming pool, has a twin bedded room and a bathroom with
shower. The second floor has a double bedroom and a
bathroom with shower.
Both villas are set in an extensive garden with their own
outside terraces for lazing or dining.
The large swimming pool (6.5 x 12 metres) is a classic pool
with a view and provides the perfect retreat after your visits to
the magical sites around the area of the Niccone valley. There
is a 2 km well maintained gravel road which leads up to the
property
